seen. (2010) / corporate design

seen. is a streetwear brand, inspired by Jamaican music and culture. In 2010 the corporate logo had to be redesigned. The goal was to create a logo that reflects the brand’s connection to Jamaica, but in a more subtle way than the previous design. I created two variations on the logo, both inspired by Jamaican culture. Firstly, there is the lettering which is based on the typical hand-painted mural-typography. Second, a more playful version uses the shape of dominos, which are omnipresent in Jamaican life. The dominos emblem keeps turning up in the corporate design.
